And when we talk about protecting the colour of the car, there is only one question!
Wax or polish?
Tolias Edition recommends you wax the vehicle twice a year, preferably in spring and autumn, with a special protective wax to protect it from weather conditions, sunlight, bird droppings, tree resin and various insects, which not only dull but deeply corrode the colour. If you want to keep the colour forever new, we recommend polishing the vehicle once a year with a polishing abrasive to restore the colour to its original form, cleaning the paint varnish and removing surface scratches and spots.
Be careful not to use it more than once a year (twice at the most), because it essentially removes and degrades the thickness of the coat of paint in order to fully restore the original colour! A basic requirement is that it should be performed only by qualified personnel using suitable polish and tools (e.g. polisher with adjustable speed) since it is a complex process unique to each vehicle and paint type (single or double application).
Tolias Edition provides polishing of up to five stages, depending on the wear and condition of the vehicle’s varnish, including removal of impurities and staining from the paint, colour restoration, and a series of Mequiars polishes for the protection of the varnish.
